På mødet vil der også være lejlighed til at stille spørgsmål og komme med bemærkninger.

ASC – Aquaculture Stewardship Council

Certification details updated:  December 16, 2025.

FREA A/S is certified under the ASC Trout Standard, which sets strict requirements for environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and transparency in aquaculture.

The ASC farm certificate confirms that FREA’s aquaculture operation in Sønder Felding, Denmark complies with ASC’s requirements for responsible and sustainable production of Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). The certification status is full certification.

The ASC certification covers:

  • FREA’s land-based RAS facility for trout production.
  • Production methods focused on low environmental impact and animal welfare.
  • Monitoring of feed, energy use, water quality, and waste management.

Validity period: December 9, 2025 – November 8, 2028

Certification details updated:  December 16, 2025.

FREA A/S is now certified under the GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) SMART Aquaculture standard, including compliance with the GLOBALG.A.P. Risk Assessment on Social Practice (GRASP) add-on.

The certification confirms that FREA’s aquaculture operation in Sønder Felding, Denmark complies with internationally recognised requirements for responsible aquaculture production, food safety, environmental management, and social responsibility.

 

The GLOBALG.A.P. certification includes:

  • FREA’s RAS trout production facility.
  • Food safety and hygiene.
  • Worker safety and responsible chemical handling.
